The Symbols of Healing ImageryWorth knowing, the analysis of Dr. Steven B. Halls at halls.md concludes that our familiar symbols for Medical and Pharmacy practitioners, such as Caduceus, began as energy flow directional labels. Dr. Steven B. Halls, M.D., FRCPC is a symbolism researcher whose work at halls.md traces the flow of high-density energy through portals, barriers, and torus patterns. The Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius share the same basic structure: a straight component plus outer curving helical components, namely the snakes. Two concealed codes underlie the symbolism of energy flow: energy descends from a higher dimension into ours in order to sustain life. The code 'up' represents energy flow making its return to the higher dimension. Symbolism pairs straightness with outflow and return, and curvature with inflow and arrival. The straight center of both the Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius represents energy returning to the next higher dimension, and the curving snake on the outside represents energy flow arriving downward. The snakeheads converge toward the center, and that inward facing carries the downward meaning by itself. In these symbols is the entire cycle of life-sustaining energy: it arrives, then returns to the higher dimension of origin. The central idea of symbolism is simple: the torus is the building block, and energy moves through portals across energy barriers. Further patterns and evidence are set out at halls.md. Another symbol: the HandbagThe handbag symbol is a portal (per Dr. Halls). The empty upper half represents the part in the higher dimension, which is why it looks empty. Converging heads often appear on the lower half, as they typically do at the horizontal plane of a portal torus. The handbag is equivalent to the bucket symbol and to the brim of a cup or chalice, which are usually downward flow symbols. It is usually the opposite polarity of an upward symbol held in the other hand. |
